December 03, 2020 ALL NEWS, MESLIS HINTS & TIPS, MESLIS PUBLIC, MESLIS UPDATES

We started MESLIS WebApp in 2018 with a Search Events feature as main use case for our clients. It very soon became clear that different customers have different starting points and apply different workflows for their licensing business. Some customers asked us whether it is possible to also have a Search Location feature in addition to the existing Search Events feature. So we implemented this in MESLIS WebApp in 2020. Others prefer to start searching for organizers and once they have identified relevant organizers receive all events and locations for these organizers in a second step. Today we shipped our brand new feature “Organizer Search” in MESLIS. Please find some details about our current release.

November 13, 2020 ALL NEWS, MESLIS HINTS & TIPS, MESLIS PUBLIC, MESLIS UPDATES

The global event and music industrie suffers very much from COVID-19 Pandemic because of many restrictions and lockdowns. Almost no concerts, festivals or other public and life performances are taking place many locations are even temporarily closed. There is one segment which develops quite rapidly during the Corona crisis: Online and Livestream Events. Our clients asked us whether it is possible to provide data on these events in MESLIS as well for their licensing business. We adjusted and implemented all required features within just a couple of weeks to satisfy this need as soon as possible for our clients. Today we shipped a new MESLIS release providing the new Livestream Events features and some other improvments, see below.

MESLIS Release 4.0: Merge events from multiple sources

September 15, 2020 ALL NEWS, MESLIS HINTS & TIPS, MESLIS PUBLIC, MESLIS UPDATES

MESLIS uses different sources like Social Networks, Websites, Event Calenders, ePaper, etc. for data crawling on events, locations, organizers and artists. The number of sources MESLIS crawles increases continuously. Every new source holds the risk of crawling data on events and other entities that already exist in MESLIS. Our customers are only interested to receive one (not many) data record for a particular event or a specific location. But they are also interested to get fully qualified data records with as much data as possible. With the new MESLIS Release we now introduce a new automatic merging workflow. This workflow automatically identifies and merges all events describing one and the same event to one merged event. The workflow also automatically enriches data that is missing on a particular event coming from one source but is available for this event from another source. Please find some more exciting new MESLIS features.

MESLIS Release 3.10: New Meta-Feature-Relevance Classifier

August 21, 2020 ALL NEWS, MESLIS HINTS & TIPS, MESLIS PUBLIC, MESLIS UPDATES

MESLIS is based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). The implemented technologies and algorithms enable an automatic assessmend of certain characteristics of the entities (events, locations, organizers, artists) in MESLIS. As a result, these assessmends provide scores, tags, classifications and rankings for every single data record. Licensing and research professionals among MESLIS users apply these classifications to efficiently find the right data records they are searching for. Our aspiration is to continuously improve and extend these AI / ML features in MESLIS for our customers. Today we released a brand new Meta-Feature-Relevance Classifier for MESLIS.
