This Tuesday was finally the day – this year’s REWE Team Challenge was on the agenda and deecoob was of course there again! Together with thousends of other runners, 9 of our deecoob employees fought for their best time in the run through Dresden’s city center.

The race started right opposite our office at Kulturpalast and ended after 5 km in the Rudolf-Harbig-Stadion. deecoob was part of the first starting waves and started the run at 6 pm. We are very proud of our runners Lydia, Henrik, Matthias, Christian, Moritz, Pavel, Martin, Andre and Johannes – thank you very much for your participation and for representing deecoob at such an incredible sport event!

The running scene in Dresden has made an impressive comeback with the 14th edition of the REWE Team Challenge. 22,534 participants from almost 2,000 companies and institutions took part in the company run on Tuesday evening, one of the largest in Germany – and the most beautiful running competition anyway.

The REWE Team Challenge is and remains one of the great sporting highlights of Dresden, with incredibly emotional moments and that indescribable feeling of happiness when the finish line is reached in the Rudolf Harbig Stadium. The annual Team Challenge has long since established itself as Dresden’s sportiest party. Taking part and having fun are the main thing here, tearing your arms in the air with joy at the finish line and also sinking to the ground exhausted is part of it.
